This play, by Anthony Hodson, is an original story, set in ancient Rome, inspired by Cicero, the great orator and defence lawyer.
Cast: 11 (narrator, four boys and six girls; can be performed by eight in total). The Narrator and the adult parts can easily be played by adults if necessary.
Staging and set: a screen needed; otherwise minimal
Performance time: uncut, about 50 minutes
The twins show Amelia a game during the course of the play. To focus this, I created a game based on the classical game of Latrunculus , adding an interesting element of chance.
